Leonardo DiCaprio's next role: J. Edgar Hoover in the Clint Eastwood-directed FBI Drama

What's next for Leonardo DiCaprio? Well, according to Deadline.com, the "Inception" star has started prepping for his next film, the untitled biopic about the life of the notorious FBI agent, J. Edgar Hoover. DiCaprio, who's playing Hoover, will be taking direction from Clint Eastwood. This will mark as their first collaboration. The reason Eastwood came aboard was through his relationship with Imagine's producer Brian Grazer. Grazer has been developing the project for awhile and even hired "Milk" scribe Dustin Lance Black to pen the film's screenplay. They say production for the film begins later this year. via deadline.com

Cast revealed for Steven Spielberg's period drama, "War Horse"

Empire has revealed the cast for "War Horse," the WW1 drama which will be directed by Steven Spielberg. The film will be a version of Nick Stafford's acclaimed stage play which was based on Michael Morpurgo's book about a British farm boy who embarks in a dangerous journey to find his beloved horse during World War I. "28 Days Later" scribe Alex Garland in talks to pen the "Logan's Run" remake

About three weeks ago, news came out about how Warner Bros' has started moving forward on the "Logan's Run" remake. According to the reports, the studio was talking to commercial director Carl Erik Rinsch about helming the project with the help from a couple heavy weight producers, Joel Silver and Akiva Goldsman. And although the film is still in the early stages, it seems the studio has taken another step and found a screenwriter, or at least talking to him: Alex Garland, the writer of Danny Boyle's zombie hit, "28 Days Later" and Boyle's sci-fi thriller "Sunshine." If hired, Garland would work off from William F. Nolan and George Clayton Johnson's original book rather than the 1976 sci-fi film that starred Michael York.
