Promo trailer for NBC’s “Kings”

A 2-min. promo trailer for NBC’s new drama “Kings” has hit the internet. The show is a modern take of the classic biblical story of “King David,” where an average man rises to political power in the city.

The series stars “Deadwood’s” Ian McShane and “Gossip Girl’s” Sebastian Stan. A confirmed air-date has not been announced, but the show was scheduled to premiere on Sunday nights.

UPDATE: NBC has announced “Kings” will air a two-hour episode on March 19. Series will start regular runs at 10 p.m. Thursdays starting March 26.
